What is ID and RTI? Intellectual Disability (or Intellectual Developmental Disability) are terms used to categorize the cognitive and learning rates of children. ID indicates a slow rate of learning compared to other children the same age. RTI, or response to intervention, refers to how much progress is an individual making by receiving treatment.
